The automotive community is buzzing following the launch of the Street Machine Shed, a digital platform designed to streamline event participation for car enthusiasts across Australia.

Traditionally, registering for events like Street Machine Summernats, Meguiar’s MotorEx, Red CentreNATS, Motorvation, Rockynats, and Street Machine Drag Challenge required separate applications each year.

The Street Machine Shed revolutionises this process by allowing users to upload their vehicle details and photos once, storing them securely for future events. This means no more repetitive data entry or last-minute scrambles to meet entry deadlines.

“This innovative tool not only simplifies the entry process for major events but also opens new avenues for event partners to engage with both spectators and participants,” said Matt Rice, Director, Media Scrum.

Enhanced Engagement Opportunities for Event Partners

For event partners, the Street Machine Shed offers a treasure trove of engagement possibilities:

  • Targeted Promotions: With access to user profiles and vehicle preferences, partners can craft promotions that resonate with specific demographics, ensuring higher engagement rates.

  • Exclusive Offers: The platform's integrated merchandise purchasing system allows partners to offer exclusive deals or early-bird specials directly to registered users, fostering a sense of community and loyalty.

  • Interactive Content: By collaborating with the Street Machine Shed, partners can introduce interactive content, such as virtual garage tours or customization previews, enhancing the user experience.

Streamlined Operations and Data Insights

Beyond engagement, the platform provides event partners with valuable operational benefits:

  • Efficient Scrutineering: With entrants' information pre-loaded, the scrutineering process becomes more efficient, allowing partners to allocate resources more effectively.

  • Data-Driven Decisions: The aggregated data offers insights into trends and preferences, enabling partners to tailor their offerings and strategies accordingly.

Building a Thriving Community

The vision for the Street Machine Shed extends beyond event registration. As it evolves, the platform aims to foster a vibrant community where users can share experiences, seek advice, and showcase their vehicles.

Matt Rice provided his thoughts on how this innovation could positively change the way brands and consumers interact in the Australian automotive industry, “For event partners, this represents an opportunity to engage with the community year-round, rather than just during event periods.”

Previous Summernats entrants can activate their profiles using their existing emails, simplifying the onboarding process. New users are encouraged to set up their profiles and upload vehicle details ahead of upcoming events, ensuring a seamless experience when entries open.

“The Street Machine Shed is poised to transform the automotive event landscape in Australia,” Matt explained. “By offering a centralised, user-friendly platform, it enhances the experience for enthusiasts and provides event partners with innovative tools to connect, engage, and grow within the community,” he added.
