MOTOREX21 IT’S A WRAP!

The 2023 Meguiar's MotorEx surpassed expectations, drawing over 20,000 passionate car enthusiasts and industry experts despite adverse weather conditions.

The event showcased more than 800 exceptional vehicles from around the nation, spanning various categories, and 200 businesses displaying cutting-edge products and services in the automotive sector.

One of the most anticipated moments was the grand reveal of the XY Falcon "Forged," which earned the esteemed Grand Master award. The automobile received widespread acclaim from attendees and professionals alike, many of whom hailed it as the finest show car ever crafted by Australian builders. Owners Dan and Kylie Morton, along with builder Pat's Pro Restos, were lauded by both the audience and judges as the Ford secured its place in the Super Six and accumulated seven gold medals in addition to the coveted Grand Master title.

Chief Judge Owen Webb remarked on the exceptional calibre of vehicles presented at this year's show, stating, "The quality of cars at MotorEx consistently improves annually, and 2023 was no exception. Judging these remarkable vehicles is always a daunting task, but it's an honour to be involved in such an extraordinary event. There were numerous standout vehicles, and I am thankful to my team for their diligent efforts in determining the winners. The Australian modified car scene is flourishing."

The Milwaukee Performance Garage trade and exhibition pavilion was yet another highlight, attracting considerable commercial attention from attendees. Reflecting on the event's success, MotorEx co-owner Andy Lopez said, "The exhibition has never looked better, and the support from the car community has never been more robust. Despite the challenging weather, we were elated to witness such an enthusiastic turnout and dedication from all participants.

Meguiar's, our longest-standing MotorEx event partner, has committed to supporting us for the next three years, and I eagerly anticipate further strengthening our partnership and enhancing the event during that time."

Prominent brands such as eBay Australia and Repco joined MotorEx for the first time in 2023, underscoring the event's significance and impact on the automotive aftermarket. A myriad of captivating activations demonstrated the tools, techniques, and innovative concepts at the forefront of the industry, with several high-profile influencers participating in the excitement.

Featuring exhilarating drifting and precision driving demonstrations, intense burnout action, horsepower showcases on the dyno, an impressive line-up of stylish street cars, and the latest cutting-edge builds, Meguiar's MotorEx has reaffirmed its status as the premier elite car show in the country.
